Brother of Freddy Freeman (Captain Marvel Jr.). In the midst of World War II, a teen-aged boy named Christopher Freeman, who was believed to have died, was taken to Heaven. There it was discovered that it was not yet his time. Unfortunately, he could not be returned to his body, so he returned to Earth as Kid Eternity with his spirit guide, Mr. Keeper. Kid Eternity uses the magic word "Eternity" to summon historical figures to aid him in fighting the forces of evil. Many years later, Christopher learned the truth. He was accidentally taken in place of his brother, Frederick, who was also critically injured that same day during the war. Freddy was supposed to die, but instead he was saved by Captain Marvel, who transferred some of his power to the boy, saving his life and transforming him into Captain Marvel Jr.
