The March is a two-headed freelancer who comes after Marko and manages to find Izabel on Phang. They use a special whip, which can harness (and kill) a ghost to ensnare her, and when she doesn't tell them what they want to know about Marko's whereabouts, they kill her. The March's companion animal is a grizzly boar named Bootstraps who can track natives to Cleave. After learning of the plot to destroy Phang from the dying Ambassador Robot, The March continues searching for Marko and finds Alana, Petrichor, Kurti, and Hazel. During the confrontation, Marko sneaks up and saves his allies by killing The March.
