The Dread Naught is a creature that lives in the Barrens. It is invisible to most beings until it dies, but the robots can see its organs while it is alive, so due to its large size, Squire and Ghüs go hunting for it to supply food for the group. When they come upon the creature, Squire's mettle is tested as Ghüs is pushed aside and Squire is left with a bow and arrow to the animal's vitals. He cannot kill it, so they return empty-handed, but they find that Alana, Marko, Sir Robot, and the rest of the gang is back.
