Ted Larkin, otherwise known as Technomancer, was a computer hacker who created a virus to digitally mine money from bank computers in a way that was undetectable to authorities. Unfortunately for him, when the virus was transferred to a computer not connected to a bank, unforeseen difficulties ensued, including the trapping of Madison Jeffries in Box, where the robot body takes control until Jeffries can make a new suit to combat his old one. Jeffries borrows a combat suit from the U.S. Air Force and defeats his original corrupted suit. He then takes care of the final piece of the puzzle: eliminating the Technomancer, Ted Larkin, with a targeted bomb.
