Ce pygargue à tête blanche est le totem de Yakari. Il apparaît souvent en début d’histoire afin de glisser un indice énigmatique à Yakari qui lui sera utile pour se sortir d’affaire, puis en fin de récit pour encourager Yakari ou pour lui expliquer le fin mot de l’aventure que Yakari a vécue.
