Kid Ock / Spider-Kid / Steel Spider

Oliver "Ollie" Osnick is a teenager who idolized Doctor Octopus, and led a group of teenaged super-villain admirers. As a genius level intelligence, Ollie developed his own set of mechanical tentacles like Doc Ock's and began imitating him, calling himself 'Kid Ock'. Spider-Man comes across Ollie committing a crime, but let's him go with a stern talking to upon realizing he was just a kid. After the encounter with Spider-Man, Ollie becomes obsessed with Spider-Man as well, and he modifies his tentacles into spider legs and puts on a Spider-Man Halloween costume, changing his secret identity to 'Spider-Kid'. Later on, during college, Ollie's girlfriend is paralyzed by muggers, and Ollie again modifies his mechanical tentacles to suit a new identity: this time, Steel Spider, a hybrid of his two idols with lethal and non-lethal weaponry. In this incarnation he wears gauntlets which house grappling hook launchers and pepper spray blasters, and his mechanical limbs contain additional weapons.
