Avi Barak, who was born in America, but moved with his family to Israel at 16 to be in his cultural homeland was a member of the Israeli Defense Force as their "inductive telepath," and he has also served in the Stormwatch Reserves. Barak's telepathy works so that, if he asks a subject a question, and the subject lies, Barak instantly absorbs the correct information directly from the subject's mind. He is also able to leave a psychic trap in a subject's mind to take control of someone trying to enter that person's mind.
