Power-Boy of Juno
Zarl Vorne first appeared in Superboy #52 (1956-10), published by DC. 4 appearances are indexed across 4 series.
10,000 years ago, Atlantis was suffering a devastating cataclysm. A scientist and his wife placed their son in a rocket and aimed it at the asteroid Juno. The rocket was equipped with a suspended animation chamber to protect the infant during the long journey. It landed in a remote section of Juno and was soon buried in the world's dense jungle. 10,000 years later, an archeologist named Vorne found the ship. Upon opening the hatch, the baby boy was revived from his long sleep. Vorne brought the child home, and he and his wife decided to raise the boy as their own, naming him Zarl. It didn't take long before Ma and Pa Vorne realized that the gravitational difference between Earth and Juno had bestowed upon their son great power. When he was a teenager, Zarl adopted the secret identity of Power-Boy and became Juno's defender.
