Nu-An was a leader of the Dragon-Kings of K'un-Lun, a mystical hidden land that appeared once in a decade in the Himalayas. He bears the title of Yu-Ti as did his father, Tuan, before him. He is also known as the August Personage in Jade. He and the other Dragon-Kings have eaten of the Tree of Immortality and thus have achieved eternal life.
