Brahma the Creator, Lords of Light and Darkness
As a prominent nuclear physicist, Dr. Brian Mann oversaw the Nest facility's design and administration. However, when the facility was devastated by an earthquake, he and his colleagues gained superhuman abilities and became known as the Lords of Light and Darkness. Their newfound powers led them to engage in battles against the X-Men and Spider-Man. Eventually, they were transported into space and underwent another transformation, becoming an energy state that appeared as a new star from Earth.
