Theia is one of the twelve Titans of Myth, the children of the earth goddess Gaia and the sky god Ouranos. Her brother-consort is Hyperion, and together they are the parents of Helios, Selene, and Eos. Her other brothers are Coeus, Crius, Cronus, Iapetus and Oceanus, and her sisters are Mnemosyne, Phoebe, Rhea, Tethys and Themis. The Titans are also siblings with the three Cyclopes (Arges, Brontes, and Steropes) and the three Hecatoncheires (Briareus, Cottus, and Gyges). At some point, Theia escaped from her imprisonment in Tartarus, and traveled to Earth. She had many lovers and numerous children. She raised her children under the auspices of a cult called the Children of the Sun. One of her daughters was Lilith, who was adopted by the Clay family, and later became a member of the Teen Titans.
