When he was exposed to deprivation rays, Randy Pressman had his mind transferred into a robot body composed of iron. The process left him in excruciating pain, which was only alleviated when Dr. Will Magnus placed a responsometer into the robot's body. However, doing so wiped his memory of once being human.
