Morrigan is the narrator and the main antagonist of the graphic novel *Hound* by Paul J. Bolger and Barry Devlin. As the goddess of war and the last of her people, the Followers of The Great Mother Danú, she wishes to mould Cú Cullan into a monster who knows nothing but violence. She earns the enmity of King Connor for causing the death of his sister when she kidnaps his nephew as a baby to claim as her own. She has the ability to shapeshift and she uses it to turn people against each other and cause war. Her guises include a crow that looks ordinary except for red eyes, a massive crow-like monster with a beak sharp enough to impale a man, a beautiful woman nicknamed "Ravenhair" for her black hair, and a filthy old Fomorian named Calatin. Morrigan is based on the Morrígan in the Ulster Cycle of Irish mythology. Her character design is inspired by and modeled after Natalia Kostrzewa.
