Wonder Woman of Earth -12 in DC's Dark Multiverse fought with the Batman of her world in war against Ares for two years. This war led to the death of her romantic partner, Steve Trevor. Later, Diana becomes involved romantically with Batman and warns him of the corrupting power of Ares helmet. Diana is stunned during an attack and Batman thinks her dead, but when he sees her come to and reach for Ares helmet, he kills her to keep the helm's power for himself.
