Tiwaz is an Elder God whose wile and wit enabled him to survive the Demogorge. After becoming trapped in ice, he was licked free by Audumbla and took on the name Buri, the first Aesir. He is the father of Bor, grandfather of Odin, and great grandfather of Thor.
