Merlin

Merlin was born of a mortal woman and an incubus, from whom he inherited his supernatural powers. He used his magic to disguise Uther Pendragon, making him look like his enemy Gorlois, the Duke of Cornwall. Uther then conceived Arthur with Gorlois' wife, Lady Igraine. When Arthur was a teenager, he pulled the sword Excalibur from a stone, upon which Merlin declared that Arthur was the rightful King of the Britons. Merlin acted as an advisor and mentor to the new king.
