Grincedent est l'équivalent de Tanngnjóstr (Qui fait grincer ses dents ; parfois sous la graphie Tanngiost), l'un des deux boucs blancs avec Claquedent qui tirent le chariot de Thor à travers l'espace (dans la mythologie germanique et la bande dessinée de Marvel). Son nom original anglais est Toothgrinder.
