the fifth Immortal Man-in-Darkness
The hero known as Immortal Man-in-Darkness is secretly a squadron of pilots. Each flight aboard The Dragonwing, a living fighter plane, takes a year off the pilot's lifespan. The Chinese military hides this information from the public by portraying Immortal Man-in-Darkness as a single person. First Lt. Chen Nuo was preceded by three unnamed pilots and Captain Han. It is not yet known whether Chen is still alive or has been succeeded by another pilot.
