Agat

In 13th century feudal Japan, the demon Agat murdered Lord Ozaki. Ozaki's samurai became a rōnin and began to search for Agat. Fifteen years later, the rōnin located the demon, and impaled both himself and Agat with his sword. As Agat died, he cursed the rōnin, causing their souls to be trapped inside the sword until someone released them. Eight centuries later, in 21st century New York City, both Agat and the rōnin are resurrected when an inventor tests the recently resurfaced sword with a laser. Agat murders Mr. Taggart, the president and owner of the Aquarius Corporation, and assumes his form. Agat then tries to track down and kill the rōnin. Casey McKenna, chief of security at the Aquarius Corporation, later learns that Agat and the rōnin are not real, but rather creations of Virgo, a sentient computer who has been using the powerful mental abilities of a man named Billy Challas to further its own ambitions.
