Witchblade Bearer, Image / Top Cow

Scáthach is a Scottish warrior woman from Celtic mythology who was famous for training the great fighters of her time. In these old legends, it was strongly implied that Scáthach was ageless and immortal, so she is seen as a goddess of battle. In comic book appearances, she is best known for being the patron goddess of Hyrkanian warrior woman, Red Sonja. In Red Sonja / Witchblade (Top Cow, 2012 series), it becomes known that Scáthach was once a Witchblade Bearer.
