Russell Dauterman is an illustrator and character designer known for work on The Mighty Thor. Russell's run on Thor, debuted at #1 on The New York Times Bestseller List for graphic novels. The book was nominated for Best Continuing Series at the 2017 Eisner Awards. Russell began his career in comics as the artist for Supurbia. Before his career in comics, Russell illustrated children’s books and worked in the film industry as an illustrator for costume designers, including work on the film Captain America: The First Avenger. A graduate of Boston College, Russell continued to study illustration, character design, and costume history at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree.
