He is not to be confused with American patriot and spy Nathan Hale (1755-1776), despite the fact that the first volume of Nathan Hale's Hazardous Tales was about the older Hale. He is the illustrator of the graphic novel Rapunzel's Revenge and its sequel, Calamity Jack. He also wrote and illustrated the graphic novels One Trick Pony and Apocalypse Taco.
