Domenico Mirabella (D. Mira) began his career by drawing covers and some stories for 'Mandrake' and 'the Phantom' (L'Uomo Mascherato) by Fratelli Spada in the 1960s. In the early 1970s he drew the series 'Sartana (Charity John)' for Editrice A.L. He also drew many stories for the German comic books 'Gespenster Geschichten' and 'Spuk Geschichten' by Bastei Verlag.
