Created comic strip Zeroy at the age of twelve (circa 1975), serialized in the Adelaide newspaper, The Observer. Professional cartooning for Australian Scout Magazine at age of sixteen (circa 1979). Contributor to Melbourne-based Inkspots Magazine (circa 1981). Creator of Zooniverse, 1986. Creator of Rex Vectar, which was serialized in Megazone Magazine, from 1992 to 1994. Created Zoonimedia, a publishing and animation production house, 1994. With Helen Maier, established production house, Artopia, in 1996 and the company, Zoonitoons, in 2012.
