Gary Ochiltree is a life long comics fan who began dealing in comics at the age 16 in 1980. He established the UK based comics retailer, Krypton Komics, in 1987 and has continued to sell American comics to the world through his real world store and online ever since. His first job was as a commercial artist and he has dipped in and out of comic book creation over the years. Having hit much frustration with various comic submissions created whilst involved in full time retail, Gary decided to use his retail shop to ‘cheat a bit’ and produce and sell his own series, Tales of the Wonder Kind starting in 2004. He thus created a unique experience for his customers, who could buy their new comics and truly discuss what should happen next.
