Paul J. Bolger has been in the entertainment industry since the late 1980s. He was involved in drawing, directing and design work in films, books and graphic novels, visual arts or writing, recording and performing songs. His animation films credits include The Land Before Time, All Dogs Go To Heaven, The Thief & The Cobbler, Cool World, Shaun The Sheep and the Wallace & Gromit film. Paul's graphic novel adaptation of the life and times of Ireland's national hero Cú Chulainn, called Hound was illustrated by him and co-written with Barry Devlin (of Horslips) is published by Dark Horse Comics. Since returning to writing and recording his original songs Paul has released a limited edition EP called The Start Of It in 2018 for which he also and directed a promo video for each song. His first album, recorded in Canada, Ireland and New York with producer Hugh Christopher Brown, was released on Canadian recording label Wolfe Island Records in summer 2020. A new album Hard Truth was released on April 29th, 2022.
