Pierre Fournier (1937-1973) était un journaliste et dessinateur satirique ayant participé au magazine de bande dessinée Charlie Mensuel puis "Charlie-Hebdo". Par ses articles, il s'est fait l'écho de la lutte contre l'énergie nucléaire; c'est notamment grâce à lui que cette lutte devint populaire, notamment à la suite de la manifestation "Bugey 01" (15 000 personnes devant une centrale nucléaire en construction dans l'Ain), manifestation festive soutenue par l'hebdomadaire. En novembre 1972, il fonda, en Savoie, à la montagne où il habitait, notamment avec son ami instituteur Émile Prémillieu, le journal "La Gueule Ouverte", mensuel écologique de diffusion nationale, "annonçant la fin du monde". Atteint d'un rétrécissement congénital de l'aorte, il a été terrassé par une crise cardiaque (due au surmenage), le 15 février 1973, quatre mois après le lancement du journal "Charlie-Hebdo".
