Jeffrey Greenfield is a television journalist and author. He was born in New York City and grew up in Manhattan. He graduated in 1960 from the Bronx High School of Science. In 1964 he earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he was an editor of the Daily Cardinal. In 1966, he earned a Bachelor of Laws degree from Yale Law School, where he was an editor of the Yale Law Journal. He worked as a speechwriter for Senator Robert F. Kennedy and worked on his 1968 presidential campaign. Greenfield has received five Emmy Awards.
