Jean-Pierre Chansigaud was an active figure in both the comics and music scenes during the 1990s. His works are featured in several distinguished collections, including L’enfance du cyclope (Zone Convective, 2003). Later, he withdrew to the countryside to focus on ceramics and painting. He eventually returned to the world of comics, contributing an illustration to a chapter of René Lévesque, quelque chose comme un grand homme. Most recently, he participated as one of the artists for Plume : chansons par toutes sortes de monde (Moult Éditions, 2023). Bacchus, artiste de l’extase marks his debut album.
