Fuhr), was originally an illustrator for the New York Herald and the New York World newspapers (dates not known). His cartoons and illustrations appeared in several magazines and, during the First World War, was a propaganda poster artist for the United States government. He moved from New York City to Westport, Connecticut, in the early 1920s and later founded the Westport Art School in 1933.
